Android 2.3.3 voiced with some-more developer-friendly entrance to NFC

The Android versions keep on rolling today with a key of a new setup in a 2.3 Gingerbread line — 2.3.3 this time — that improves developer access to a platforms newfound NFC capabilities as initial seen upon a Nexus S. What’s new, just? Well, there’s a brand new NFC review / write API which Google alleges will let you entrance flattering much any NFC tab upon the market currently, better carry out over what happens when the tab comes within range of a device, and “limited support” for peer-to-peer NFC information exchange — something Stanford cobbled together for the Nexus S not long ago. The new setup is available right away to developers using a Android SDK; no devices have received an update yet, though we’d suppose the Nexus S is queued up to get it prior to as well long.
