Calxeda new processor will have four cores. Argues that a compute node, including quad Calxeda and memory DRAM, will consume no more than 5 watts when fully loaded. Also, the developers claim that the standard dvuhyunitovy server with 120-th node will fit up to 480 cores.

According to the edition of Computer World, the new processors will be based on cores Cortex A9 (recall that on the same platform is based NVIDIA Tegra chip 2). The exact characteristics of processors (eg, its clock frequency) and release date has not yet specified.
