Canon Will Replace Your Slippery Knob for $100

A rather bizarre square of headlines comes to us from Canon. If you have either the EOS 7D or 5D Mark II, you can send it off to Canon as well as get the brand brand-new mode-dial. Why? Because this a single thatch in place, requiring you to push the executive symbol to spin it.

Presumably Canon has received sufficient complaints from users which it deems this the inestimable upgrade. I have used both cameras briefly as well as never suspicion that a mode-dial was quite loose. Perhaps that’s something which worsens with time?

Even odder is which this upgrade will price you $100, that seems steep for something that Canon seems to see as the repair for the pattern smirch. So if you’re a kind of person who can’t peek down to check what mode your camera is in, as well as if you don’t thoughts being but your SLR for what will as if be the couple of weeks, afterwards go ahead. Canon will be happy to have some of your income.
