Stick-On Buttons Turn Smartphones into Game-Pads

From a Department of Plastic Crap, you move you a Tactile+Plus, a pleonastically-named set of widgets that hang onto your smartphone’s screen and impersonate a feel of a genuine diversion control-pad.

The little nubbins solve a big complaint of touch-screen gaming: you have to keep seeking down to see where your fingers should be. By putting an nine-dot round (one centre mark and 8 directions) over the practical D-pad, and up to 4 alternative cosmetic warts over any on-screen buttons, you can have certain you’re always in contact with a right spot.

Presumably (it’s tough to discuss it, as a site follows Japanese convention by putting all a specs into an untranslatable JPG), a conductive goodness of your fingers is, good, conducted to the capacitive shade below. This equates to that, nonetheless this is seen on an iPhone in a design, it should work with any complicated smartphone.

Ironically, a product shot shows Streetfighter IV. This diversion is obviously desperate for a little pleasing feedback, but it additionally has the lot of special moves that need you to slide your finger around the D-pad. Easy upon a moving, rocking switch, but reduction so upon tip of idle nubbins.

The Tactile+Plus can be systematic right away, from Japan, for ¥630, or around $7.80. Hopefully some forward Westerner will import them.
