Boomer: A Rechargeable USB Bike-Light from Knog

I similar to Knog bicycle lights. They’re cheap, splendid, difficult as well as more-or-less waterproof, as well as their rubbery bodies have them as easy to mountain on the bike as they have been to toss in your bag. What I don’t similar to is shopping batteries, whether they’re AAAs or button cells. That’s why I’m vehement about a Boomer Rechargeable, the USB version of Knog’s 50-lumen Boomer.

The light was spotted by a great folks from Urban Velo upon a trip to a new Interbike uncover. The Boomer Rechargeable functions like each alternative Knog flare: the cosmetic core containing a wiring and LEDs is wrapped in the elastic silicone cover. The disproportion is that when you trip a skin off this a single, you see a USB block that you can jack into the computer or horse. It could frequency be improved for the commuter who rides to work upon dark winter days.

The regular Boomer costs $35, so design this to be the small more. The flare isn’t nonetheless live on the site, but (hopefully) will be shortly.
