Cyanogen squeezes Android 2.2 Froyo into G1, MyTouch 3G

Earlier this evening, you took the plunge — now, we’re rocking Froyo upon the old-and-busted T-Mobile G1. That’s because Cyanogen’s group of ROM hackers has come by once again for a little handset which could, portion early adopters with HTC Dream as well as Magic phones (as good as a Nexus One) with a first fully-functioning, stable setup of CyanogenMod 6. Based on Google’s famous solidified yogurt, a release candidate’s got more fabulous tweaks than you can shakeup the stick during, though sadly doesn’t seem to embody Flash 10.1, and yet WiFi and a camera have been working good (as good as SurfaceFlinger and Chrome to Phone) many would-be shoppers in the Android Market are anticipating themselves faced with the dreaded force tighten. As usual, you’ll find instructions during the source couple if you assimilate a risks — if you’re not clever, you can easily section your phone.
