The compress superzoom celebration is the place to be, and while Nikon’s P100 may not be a most slinky indication at gala, it’s got a great personality with its 26x wizz lens, backside-illuminated sensor, HDR functionality, and the ability to fire H.264 video during 1080p. It’s also newly available during a couple of different retailers for you to put your income ($399) where your mouth is, most sites listing some variation on “shipping shortly.” Amazon is a usually one contemptuous sufficient to apply a date, but it’s a rather deceptive and general asingle: 3 to 5 weeks. We can wait which prolonged for something this great, right?

The two highlights that amazed me were the Nikon’s focusing indicator system. It is so cool that when you shoot a bouquet of flowers the display shows you each blossom chosen by the matrix focusing system. You click the shutter with the knowledge that it is choosing what you want. Nikon P100 is really wonderful. The second highlight is the range of the optics from good macro, nice wide angle, and amazing telephoto.
