As expected, the EVGA today officially unveiled its first decision on the core GF116 – GeForce GTX 550 FPB (Free Performance Boost) and GeForce GTX 550 Ti Superclocked. Card, it must be said, are not standard and the modified design, and just as importantly, they have a higher frequency characteristics.

In general, GeForce GTX 550 Superclocked Ti FPB and did not differ greatly. Both cards are equipped with full-sized cooling system, have 192 core CUDA, 1 GB of VRAM GDDR5 and uses 192-bit memory bus. Nevertheless, if the frequency of GPU, CUDA cores and VRAM from the first card of 951, 1903 and 4356 MHz, this figure is even higher in the second – 981, 1962 and 4514 MHz respectively. For comparison, the frequency of the GPU, CUDA cores VRAM and the standard version GeForce GTX 550 Ti is only 900, 1800 and 4100 MHz.
