CyberPower takes Core i7-990X adopted

CyberPower, one of the leading manufacturers of PC gaming in the U.S., has officially announced that the model of a series of Fang EVO Black Mamba, Cobra, Viper and Gamer Xtreme can be equipped with a processor Intel Core i7-990X Extreme Edition. We recall that this processor was officially unveiled a few days ago, and currently is the most powerful processor for desktop systems in the model number Intel.

According to official figures, Core i7-990X Extreme Edition made on 22 nm process technology, it has 6 cores, 12 MB L3 cache, and can handle up to 12 streams of data simultaneously through technology HyperThreading / Simultaneous MultiThreading (HT / SMT). Its nominal clock frequency – 3.46 instead of 3.33 GHz as a Core i7-980X. As you might guess, the system built based on it can easily cope with any modern games, including 3D, as well as the processing of video, photos.

It is worth noting that the Core i7-990X Extreme Edition is very expensive: in quantities of 1000 units and above, it is worth $ 999.
