According to Apple’s UK website, iOS 4.1 will strike upon Wednesday, September 8th. The US website still displays a non-commital “Coming Soon” summary, so we’ll have to keep our eyes peeled. We’re going to go ahead as well as theory that all those shiny brand-new iPods will come to sell which day too… but don’t reason us to which one. Like you pronounced, it’s usually the guess.
