Buffalo Company Launches New Network Storage LinkStation Pro Quad, targeted at home users.

The new drive will be available in versions with memory 4 and 8 GB will be able to work with computers running Windows and MacOS, there are also special applications for the iPhone and devices based on Android.

LinkStation Pro Quad can be used in a home network to transfer data to computers, laptops, gaming consoles (eg, PS3 and Xbox 360), as well as other gadgets that support DLNA and UPnP.

Data transfer rate LinkStation Pro Quad reaches 72 MB / s, and four physical hard disks that are part of this drive can be configured to operate as a RAID 0 (for performance) and RAID 5 (high degree of safety data).
