Epic Games has created a new demo showing the truly amazing features of their latest game engine Unreal Engine 3. The demonstration is rendered in real time and is called the "Samaritan" – looking at it, you can understand what is expected from future games, and heck, the game of the future will look simply awesome! Unless, of course, video, located under the cut, in fact, reflects the image that will create a mainstream graphics in real time. In the very near future.

The video was shown at the rally developers Toy Game Developers Conference 2011. The demonstration uses the API DirectX 11 with all its twists like tessellation, displacement mapping, geometry shaders, large textures and shader model fifth version.

PS "demo" does not imply the development of the game with the characters and scenery it shows – it's just a plot to "remove" to familiarize gamers with new technology Epic Games.
