Beer-fetching drudge promises to have your poignant alternative archaic

The thing about the future is this: we’ll still have to do basic things like answer the door, or take out a trash, or get up off our couches to get our own brews after the prolonged, hard day at a bureau… unless we’re intelligent enough to invent robots to do such menial things, which is. Well, Willow Garage has outlaid some time office building a “Beer Me” application for the PR2 drudge that gets during slightest a single of these tasks underneath the leather belt. They combined a the four-holed foam block placed behind the robot’s navigation laser so which it can safely lift 4 bottles opposite the terrain, as well as equipped their refrigerator with the tilted “self-stocking” shelf.
